Your dolls are gorgeous, and I loved the Kirsten, did you get the dirt out then? She looked flawless. About the softer vinyl, I have a white bodied molly body and it has super soft vinyl, so I wonder if the vinyl is the softest on those white body girls and just got harder as the years progressed. Congrats on your quick sale on Molly, It's nice to know you got your money back on her since she wasn't sparking you at all. Again...beautiful dolls!

By soft vinyl, do you mean smooth or squeazable? I have AG dolls going back 16 years up to Kit (can't remember the year she was released), and don't notice any significant difference with the vinyl in either respect.
Congratulations on your special new doll--she looks like mint condition!

Congrats on your Felicity!! Quite exciting that she's signed and all too. I don't know specifically about a different vinyl used on the older dolls... but I know that a couple of my early 90s dolls seem to have more pliable appendages, possibly from age/wear/exposure to heat. Enjoy your new doll!
